Here we see E. Griffin's assessments at No.1 (Coastal) Operational Training Unit at Silloth, and at the end of his active tour of duty with No.500 Squadron in North Africa. Both reports were good, with the training unit rating him as 'Good Average' and his squadron as 'above average, a good worker'.
